- I have pretty normal skin, but I do have a tendency to get some frustrating cystic spots around my forehead/eyebrows. They're deep, so eventually, they just disappear, but they're usually tender. Niacinimide as an ingredient has been a life-saver. It greatly reduces the swelling of these spots. That's my number one reason for using it, but it also keeps the texture of my skin generally smooth and bright.
